Vetiver is a perennial grass found in India and Brazil. Locals call it “the oil of tranquillity”.

The essential oil is obtained from the roots of the plant by distillation. It has a heavy, earthy aroma. The oil visibly helps restore dry and ageing skin and helps reduce enlarged pores. It increases skin elasticity and restores its fresh appearance. It helps reduce acne scars and lighten dark spots on the skin. It helps prevent hair loss and restores the hair shaft. Vetiver oil is used mainly in perfumery and is widely present in oriental fragrances. Because of its low volatility, it is used as a fixative in perfume compositions.

How to use

Massage add 20 drops of vetiver oil to 100 ml of carrier oil / almond, argan, grape seed, avocado/ and apply to the skin with massaging movements.

Enriching face cream add to your face cream: 2 drops of vetiver oil per 50 g of cream.

Enriching shampoo add 10–15 drops of vetiver oil to 100 ml of shampoo to reduce hair loss.

Bath to relax, add 6–8 drops of vetiver oil to carrier oil or milk, stir and pour into the bath.

Vetiveria zizanioides root oil, Cinnamyl alcohol.

Contraindications

Contraindicated for pregnant or breastfeeding women, children and people with individual intolerance to vetiver oil.

Caution

Highly concentrated! Store tightly closed away from direct sunlight! Keep away from children! Perform a sensitivity test before use! In case of contact with eyes, rinse thoroughly with water! Not for internal use!
